I’m thrilled to announce my 16th publication, and my second time to have work published by Crannog magazine for their issue 62 (spring/summer 2025)
Claw is set in a small town in Ireland, where the class divide leads to dark tale of sexual exploitation and violence. As the main protagonist considers their revenge, we are lost in a colourful nightmare of soft toys and gambling machines.
This story is in print, so you’ll need to buy a copy of Crannog 62 in order to read it. You can purchase past and present copies of Crannog on their website: https://crannogmagazine.com/
Buying a copy means you will be supporting the Arts in Ireland – it’s great that we have literary magazines like Crannog, so I’m sure they will appreciate your support.
“Fumbling in the early morning light, and laughter when you open your eyes, then close them again. Waking up in a bed full of colours. Pink and blue. Soft brown and neon green. Several dozen plastic eyes, watching you, waiting for a reaction.”
