It was a great pleasure this week to receive my free copy of the first edition of The Plaza Prizes Anthology – I was lucky enough to be shortlisted earlier this year for my ‘Sudden Fiction’ piece, The Human Ikebana.

Written during lockdown, I tried to imagine a world where people had become obsessed with hobbies and traditional skills – The Human Ikebana tells a story of obsession and revenge, in the pursuit of perfection.
